Thanks Lindsay, your information about Italian Americans contributions has given me an insight I never thought about before. As for myself, when purchasing these items I never thought about who, what where or how they came to be. I think for the most part, it was taught it school that Christopher Columbus discovered America by accident, because he was lost. That is way, when we receive information that is supposed to be factual it is good to do research. During the time when we received information taught in school there was not much information to rely on, except from word of mouth or the Encyclopedia. Now we are finding out that information was not true and more research is being done to correct this injustice. Had we not enrolled in this class, we may not have known about some of the injustices or incorrect information that has been displayed or taught to us previously. Thank you, Mrs. Warren for allowing us the privilege to research and bring this information to the class.
