Students can subscribe to the Announcements section of their course using news feeds. Both RSS 2.0 and and Atom formats are supported. A link to subscribe can be found at the bottom of the Announcements page.

The Announcements menu option is now available for use with course websites -- providing a quick and simple way for professors to post news or information throughout the semester. Only the course administrator (or an individual authorized by the course administrator) can enter/edit/delete announcements for students to read. All announcements have a time/date stamp and are ordered from newest to oldest.
